It’s about time, McFly. A video game based on the Back to the Future movies is in the works.

Being developed by Telltale Games, the Back to the Future game series will include the likenesses of Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, who portrayed the characters Marty McFly and Doc Brown in the films, which listed Steven Spielberg among the executive producers. (Lloyd will also provide his voice for the games.)

In August of 2009, there was a mysterious trademark that popped up by Nintendo for “Super Mario Collection”. For those that don’t know, Super Mario Collection is the Japanese name for Super Mario All-Stars, which was a collection of Mario games (Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, and Lost Levels) on the NES (and a version with Super Mario World on the SNES).

In an interesting turn of events, Nintendo has decided to release just four new games today — three for DSiWare and one for WiiWare. For DSiWare, we get Cosmos X2 (a side-scrolling shooter), myNotebook: Pearl (a notebook app), and Music On: Learning Piano (a piano teacher app). On WiiWare, the only title is Tales of Elastic Boy: Mission 1 (a physics-based action-platformer). In a turn from previous weeks, Nintendo has finally released a new Virtual Console game. In fact, it is an import of Ufouria: The Saga (known in Japan as Hebereke). We also get one new WiiWare title in the physics-platformer And Yet it Moves. wii games summer 2010 I am Going to the Wii Games 2010 Championship!

On August 7, 2010, my wife and I competed at our local Six Flags for the Wii Games Summer 2010 competition. Of course, as you all know, I am obviously a big Nintendo fan. I could not pass up an opportunity to compete. Before we signed up, we told ourselves that we were going to win. We had no idea we actually would do just that!
