Whatever the 3DS ends up costing, Nintendo has at least guaranteed a time frame of when the new portable will be available in stores.

“One thing, for sure, is that we will launch in all of our major markets by March 31, 2011,” Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime told Industry Gamers yesterday.

When asked about the absence of specific pricing and availability, Fils-Aime added, “The reason we haven’t announced a launch date or pricing is that we wanted to get reaction first.”

There are dozens of Mii designs to be found online, of present-day freakish Michael Jackson.? Taking a cue from Andy Anonymous and his submission over at gamercreated.com, I made a Mii of Thriller-era MJ…. the MJ people actually like.

Much thanks goes to Andy for the design concept.? The correct eye, mouth and hair selections had me stumped until I saw Andy’s design.

We’ve been plugging away at our LB Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Walkthrough and Strategy Guide for the Nintendo DS, DS Lite, and DSi, and we are sooooo close to completion, it hurts.

Wired writer John Mix Meyer offers some legitimate criticism of the Wii’s WiiWare system, in which, unlike pretty much every other system for buying video games (Steam on the PC, the Xbox 360 and PS3 systems), when you buy a video game you can’t redownload it; Nintendo doesn’t let you store video games in an account that gives you free access to them, it just lets you download video games directly to your machine.?
